HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

Maxwell Hodge has extensive experience in claiming compensation for clients.  We pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of the relevant precedures, combined with a high level of expertise and negotiation skills.

Hundreds of thousands of people are injured each year in accidents.  We appreciate that to be compensated with money is not always adequate but it can assist in making life easier for families and individuals to cope.

We understand that accidents can have a major impact on a person and their family so we offer a sensitive but professional service.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO CLAIM FOR?

Compensation is recoverable if it can be shown that another person was wholly or partly to blame for your accident.  Our Team will be able to advise whether it is likely to be possible to establish blame.  They will explain what you will be able to claim.

Compensation is awarded for pain, suffering and loss of the ability to do things after an accident, which you could do before.  Medical evidence will be obtained, recording your injuries, how those injuries have affected you and how long it is likely to be before recovery is complete (if at all).

Compensation is also paid for any financial loss suffered because of the accident.  This will include present and future loss of earnings.

WHAT SORT OF INFORMATION DO WE WANT FROM YOU?

When attending to see a Member of our Team, you will be asked for certain information.  The type of information that is required is, to an extent, dependant upon the type of claim that you have.  However, there is some general information.  You can retain this brochure as a checklist:-

  1. Your name address and contact numbers.
  2. Your date of birth and National Insurance Number.
  3. The date and time of your accident.
  4. The circumstances of your accident.
  5. The person that you blame for your accident and their contact details.
  6. Details of any witnesses to your accident.
  7. The injuries that you sustained.
  8. Your out of pocket expenses.

Please do not worry if you do not have all of this information.  However, the above list may help you to prepare so that you get the most out of your first meeting with us.
