CHALLENGING A WILL

A Will can be challenged after you die if :-

  • you did not have the mental capacity to make a will at the time it was signed;
  • the will has been changed sometime after you signed it;
  • you did not make the will freely, or your decisions were influenced by others;
  • in some situations, certain specified individuals whom you may have had a responsibility to provide for, consider that you have not left them a fair share of your estate.

There are strict time limits in which a will can be challenged.      Legal advice should be taken as soon as possible.
