Maxwell Hodge was created in 2005 following the merger of Maxwell Entwistle & Byrne and Carter Hodge.

Both firms had long prided themselves on providing the best possible legal advice and recognised that by combining they could provide an even stronger and more far reaching legal service to clients.

In 2006 Maxwell Hodge was awarded The Law Society's Lexcel standard. This is only awarded to law firms who meet the highest standard of customer care and management.

The firm operates from 8 offices stretching from Formby to Wirral with a city centre office in the heart of Liverpool’s business district.
